Journal Transformation Project Proposal

Well I feel I would like to do my project on my journey maybe , figuring a whole and fulfilling life. That is about it , can not quite think of anything really. Well I guess I would just write about my ideas.

Okie so I just realized I have to have 3 proposals.

Well So the first when would be writing about my ideas on fulfillment, not happiness. Because I realized later that is what I was looking for.

Well mmmm I am not sure what else I would do, I don't think I could write a song, there is not one musical or poetic bone in my body. Well I am not sure where this idea will take me , but amm , i remember I was asking my closest friends one day, what is best advise they would pass one, I liked hearing what every one had to say. And somehow put that together.

Well the third idea. mmmm what can it be , dont quite know. I know I want my ideas to include the people around me, That is a big part of m journal entries, I thought it was all about me, and my mind, but the "me " is extremely dependent everything and everyone around. So a way to include peoples ideas, The exercise  I liked in class was the one where we all were to look at the same thing, and see what every other person thought or saw. I love that concept, maybe an experiment of that sort , and write about the experience . To incorporate my journal, My reoccurring thoughts and ideas, and ask the important people in my life to talk about it. And see it through their eyes.

  1. It sounds like you are starting to brainstorm up some good ideas! Don't worry you still have some time! Can't wait to see what you come up with!

  3. I think you're on the right track here. Your project would involve your journal – very cool. Could you leave yourself "signposts" for your journey? Perhaps a map of your made-up / vision / future? Map out important goals for yourself? Then leave advice from your past journal entries to your future self? What is important to you now? What you want to be important to you later? Add photos – your own and/or found? Just some thoughts. I'm sure you'll manage to find you way soon. :)

  5. I respect how you know yourself. Knowing you're dependent on friends and family is important and I think incorporating that into your project will produce something valuable and precious. You're definitely going to create something awesome and excited to see what comes!

  6. Anjani,

I like the idea of a song or something musical and poetic. You said there's not a poetic bone in your body, but everyone can write poetry! There doesn't always have to be a form, or any rhyme or reason to it- maybe it's nonsense, but it's still poetry. I like the idea of you challenging a part of yourself that's difficult or says you "don't, can't, won't" do it. You could even include others in the process, like have them write down one word (to describe you, that means something to them, or just a random thought) and then use their words, and yours, to make some type of poetry-like thing. It could be something you just read, or you could make it an artsy thing too.

I hope you find something to do! If you need any ideas, try googling words that you like followed by art or project and see if that sparks anything for you. :) Good luck!

  7. Anjani,

So whatever you wind up choosing/doing, I'd like it to come -- in some way, shape, or form -- from YOUR journal. Your idea of "acknowledging your journey" (my words) is spot-on; that's exactly what this is all about, so now you just need to think of how you can REPRESENT or TRANSFORM that. How can you take your journal entries (which more/less highlight moments of self-awareness and insight in your ongoing journey) TURN THAT INTO something new?

It doesn't necessarily need to be "artsy." Forget about what other people are making; what would you LIKE to create?

  8. Hey Hey,

I am just throwing out that I think a song would be a super artistic way of expressing your journal thoughts and entries. We always listen to music in class and it would definitely be original because YOU are the only one so that has seen your journal entries, I'm assuming

You could even create an album or CD cover for your song. Or literally take a CD case and have the lyrics of your song inside. Anyways hope that helps a little!
